WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Clouds are increasing this afternoon ahead of another cold front that will push through.

We will see scattered showers again on Wednesday, but heavy lake effect rain will develop late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.

From Thursday morning until Friday morning, some locations could see 2 to 3 inches or more of rain in Southern Jefferson County into Lewis County.
