SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. —

A man is facing charges in connection with vandalism at a Spartanburg County, South Carolina, church.

The vandalism happened between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday at Pelham Church of God on Abner Creek Road.

Authorities said approximately 40 window panes were broken with rocks.

Bradley George, 47, is charged with malicious injury to real property.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office said there is no evidence to indicate that this incident was motivated by hate or bias, and it is not being investigated as a hate crime.

George's bond was set at $15,000.
