Australia’s top-ranked tennis player Alex de Minaur has continued his season of hardcourt heroics, his latest dominant victory in Vienna also marking a major career milestone.
De Minaur has been on a hardcourt tear in 2025 and on Monday scored his 38th victory on the surface this season.
The Australian, ranked No.7 in the world, proved far too good for Jurij Rodionov, crushing the local hope 6-4 6-1 in their round-of-32 clash at the ATP tournament in the Austrian capital.
De Minaur’s straight-sets win was not simply a tour-leading 38th hardcourt triumph of the season, it also marked his 300th tour-level victory.
