Joining the Montana State football program involves family dynamics for Kade Robinson, in more ways than one.

Robinson is a senior at Missoula Sentinel who grew up a Montana Grizzlies fan, both because of his proximity to the university and because his father Casey Robinson was a defensive lineman there in the late 1990s. Kade didn’t get an offer from the Griz, but he did from MSU, where his uncle Cory Robinson played D-line at the turn of the century.

Cory sent Kade a congratulatory text after Kade announced his commitment to the Bobcats last week .

“I obviously rubbed it in my brother's face a little bit,” Cory told 406 MT Sports. “Christmas presents will be easy for us this year.”
