Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) blasted President Donald Trump's most recent AI-generated meme that depicts him flying a fighter jet and defecating on people participating in the "No Kings" protest last weekend.

Trump posted the meme on Truth Social ahead of the protest, which about 7 million Americans attended, according to estimates. In the meme, Trump was depicted wearing a crown, and the jet he flew was named "King Trump."

Paul, a frequent critic of Trump, discussed the meme on a new episode of "Piers Morgan Uncensored" on Tuesday.

"I think of it on a different plane," Paul said. "I think of the debate our founding fathers had over the separation of powers, of what Montesquieu said when he said that the executive powers, when united with the legislative powers, you'll have no liberty if those powers are put together."

"I have been a stickler for fighting against emergency powers for any president, whether it's a Democrat or a Republican president," Paul said. "So I see the debate over separation of powers as an important one and one that needs to be on a higher plane, maybe than cartoons and memes."

Paul also slammed the Trump administration's strikes against alleged drug trafficking boats.

"The bottom line is, even if they are drug dealers, we don't want to live in a world of summary execution with no due process," he said.
