DALTON, Ga. — A 78-year-old man is in custody in Georgia after being accused in a hit-and-run crash after a University of Tennessee football game that injured a teen and a woman earlier in October.

According to the Knoxville Police Department, officers in Dalton, Georgia, took Louis Boyatt into custody on Tuesday.

Police said Boyatt was identified as the suspect who hit a 45-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl with an SUV near Concord Street on Oct. 11 before driving off.

The woman and child were injured in the crash.

KPD said Boyatt is facing two counts of reckless aggravated vehicular assault and one count of leaving the scene of an accident. He will be extradited back to Knoxville.
