The police are investigating what appeared to be a devastating overnight ram-raid on a coffee shop in Casey. It's the latest of a string of seemingly targeted attacks on premises using vehicles to crash in.
In the latest, the owner of the Coffee Guru franchise in the Casey Market Town precinct found the front window completely shattered, with glass metres out into the carpark when he arrived at dawn to open the cafe.
The motive wasn't clear, according to the owner, known as Bish.
"They didn't steal anything," he said, but there was what he called "whole destruction".
There have been other recent ram raids in Canberra.
