VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A motorcyclist is dead after crashing on a Visalia highway Monday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
Just before 3 p.m., CHP says a man was riding his Harley-Davidson Sportster west on Highway 198 when, for unknown reasons, he crashed into a raised curb.
CHP says the impact caused the rider to be ejected onto the westbound Akers Street onramp. He was transported to a local hospital, where CHP says he was pronounced dead.
