GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The University of Florida and Florida State University will share a $43 million grant package.

UF Health officials say the money will go toward clinical research and workforce development initiatives.

The money comes from the National Institutes of Health, and will benefit the UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute.

It’s broken up into a seven-year grant and two training grants.
