A woman has been hospitalised after an army truck partially crushed her car during a traffic crash in Brisbane’s north on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Samford Road, near Baden Lane, about 3.25pm, to reports between two and three vehicles had crashed along the busy route.

They arrived to find the woman’s car had been struck by one army truck, which had then rolled over and off the road.

Fire crews had to use a hydraulic press to remove the car door to remove the woman from her car, allowing paramedics to treat her at the scene.

She suffered non-life-threatening wounds, including a laceration to her head and minor chest injuries, and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
