Rocherlea announced on Wednesday night that Jack Avent will join the NTFA division one reigning premiers after a star-studded career at North Launceston.

A seven-time premiership player, the 30-year-old played his 250 th game in the NTFA premier league grand final , and will now help cover Rocherlea's losses of Josh Ponting and Jordan Cousens.

Ponting departed the Tigers to coach NWFL side Latrobe, while Cousens joined division two premiers East Coast.
