LAWRENCE — The college football season has already seen a number of teams move on from the head coaches they entered the fall with.

The change at Penn State caught a lot of attention, as did the one at Florida. But while the Colorado State opening might not be as high-profile in the sport, it is one worth watching and one that multiple outlets have named a Kansas assistant coach as a potential candidate to take over. That would be Matt Lubick, the Jayhawks’ co-offensive coordinator/tight ends coach.
