GRAFTON, Ohio — A front yard in Grafton is drawing plenty of Halloween visitors -- but behind the skeletons and spooky lights, there’s a mission that’s anything but scary.

Homeowner Tammy Lettieri has transformed her yard on Edgewood Drive into a Halloween spectacle -- packed with skeletons, gravestones, eerie sound effects and even a few feline-inspired decorations.

But this isn’t just for fun.

Every light, every skeleton and every scream helps raise money for Weirdo Cat Lovers of Cleveland , a local nonprofit that steps in when cat owners face veterinary emergencies they can’t afford.

“I love animals, period,” Lettieri said. “And a friend of mine mentioned that there’s this cat group -- they’re really cool -- and I joined and to know everybody and I just wanted to help.”
