The Las Cruces City Council will have at least two new members following the 2025 election and there are three competitive races.

In District 6, Tommy Black, John Muñoz, Richard Reynaud and Ramona Bataneant filed to replace Yvonne Flores.

The Sun-News emailed each candidate the same five questions ahead of the election. Muñoz and Reynaud responded. The answers are presented as the candidates submitted them to the newspaper.
