The success of the Blue Jays might actually take a bit of heat off a Maple Leafs team that is struggling out of the gate. They went 1-1-1 in this segment, but remember those were all home games against teams that missed the playoffs last year.

Coach Craig Berube said he’s tired of all the line juggling as he looks for the right mix. The new guys really haven’t asserted themselves. The defence doesn’t look as strong as last year, even though it’s the same six. And goaltending only gets you so far.
