If you're reading this after 11 a.m., it's already over. There may still be one renegade shower later in the afternoon north of Boston, but sun will make for a superb finish to the day. Highs again reach the mid-60s.
And that will conclude our stretch of mild fall temperatures. The front that's passing today will tap into cooler air for the days to come. We'll gradually slide back to the upper 50s, then the mid-50s, then the low 50s going into the weekend.
While the airmass is initially pretty chilly, it's the cool onshore breezes that keep us below normal through next week.
