AUSTIN, Texas — A pedestrian was killed in a fatal crash Tuesday night in northeast Austin, according to police.

The Austin Police Department (APD) said the collision happened around 9 p.m. Tuesday on West Parmer Lane along Interstate 35 and Center Lake Drive.

Police said at least two vehicles were involved in the crash, and that one of the drivers hit the pedestrian. The victim's identity has not been shared with the public.

The roadway was closed for several hours, but has since reopened. No additional details are available at this time.
