An Air India flight AI-191, en route from Mumbai to Newark, US, had to return after 3 hours of flight due to a technical glitch. It is not yet known what the exact reason behind the problem.
According to FlightRadar24, the aircraft took off from Mumbai Airport at 1:15 am. After about three hours, the crew suspected a malfunction. Following this, a decision was made to land it back in Mumbai.
After landing, the aircraft was taken out of service for inspection. Due to this, both flights AI-191 (Mumbai-Newark) and AI-144 (Newark-Mumbai) operating between Mumbai and Newark were cancelled.
