WASHINGTON — Sen. John Kennedy , DC’s king of the one-liners, gave a withering assessment of the Biden administration’s approach to foreign adversaries on the latest episode of “ Pod Force One ,” out Wednesday.
“I don’t want America to be the world’s policeman, but I don’t want [Chinese President] Xi Jinping or [Russian President Vladimir] Putin or the Ayatollah in Iran to be either,” he told Post columnist Miranda Devine.
“And these are hard men,” Kennedy (R-La.) went on. “They’re hard men. Dealing with them is like hand-feeding a shark, and they understand one thing.” 4
“I mean, we’re in the middle of a prison riot in Ukraine, and [Biden national security adviser Jake] Sullivan would go over there and try to quote Socrates … instead of showing force.”
