With the 2025 NFL trade deadline looming in early November, teams are undoubtedly working the phones to see what deals can be made before that fateful deadline.

We've decided to go through the NFL's 32 teams and find trade fits we like for various rosters in the NFL. Most of these trades involve contending teams adding valuable pieces, while others see struggling teams add valuable draft capital for the future.

COWBOYS: The wild Maxx Crosby rumor, explained

Sure, you never know how the NFL trade deadline will go. However, these hypothetical trades sure make sense to us. Let's run through them and why we're keen on these ideas.

TYLER LOCKETT: Landing spots for the veteran receiver

Dolphins OLB Bradley Chubb to the Lions

The Lions should be in the business for a pass-rusher, and Chubb would be a smart rental for Detroit to make as it pushes for a Super Bowl berth. The Dolphins look rough right now, but Chubb is still a useful starter on most any defensive line. Pairing him with Aidan Hutchinson could help the Lions sleep easier at night with their defense.

Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers to the Patriots

Meyers returning to New England just makes too much sense at this point. Second-year quarterback Drake Maye could use another reliable weapon in the passing game, and Meyers has played extensively for Pats offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. If the price is right, Meyers going back to the Patriots would be an ideal fit.

Titans WR Calvin Ridley to the 49ers

The 49ers are severely banged up at the receiver position, and we'd absolutely love to see what Kyle Shanahan could do with Ridley in the passing game. Ridley has struggled in Tennessee, but a savvy play-caller like Shanahan could be just what he needs to return to his previous form. He'd give San Francisco a big-play element to the passing game that's not really there right now. Perhaps the 49ers could send Brandon Aiyuk to the Titans in exchange, a good-old-fashioned player-for-player swap? A fresh start in Tennessee could help Aiyuk.

Dolphins OLB Jaelan Phillips to the Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are a true-blue contender, but the team could use more depth on the defensive line to get after opposing quarterbacks. Phillips has proven to be a reliable pass-rusher when healthy, and he could come off the bench for Indianapolis and help wreak havoc on offenses. This is a win-now move that we love for the Colts.

Jets RB Breece Hall to the Cowboys

The Cowboys could really use more pop in the run game, and we could see Jerry Jones taking a flier on Hall in a trade with the hapless Jets. Hall gets a fresh start in Dallas, while the Jets get a valuable draft pick for 2026. A backfield of Hall and Javonte Williams makes you feel better about the Cowboys run game going forward.

Saints WR Rashid Shaheed to the Bills

Shaheed is all speed, all the time. He's one of the best deep threats in the NFL, and we have a feeling the Bills would love having him join the offense. Quarterback Josh Allen could thrive with Shaheed's downfield potential. For a Bills team looking for answers right now, Shaheed could be a major boost to the passing game for explosive plays.

Browns TE David Njoku to the Panthers

The Panthers should be in buy mode to help the offense, particularly with quarterback Bryce Young missing some time with a high ankle sprain. Njoku could upgrade the tight end spot for Carolina and give them a very reliable receiver that can grow with Young and this promising offense. Cleveland could get a nice draft pick back in this.

Titans OLB Arden Key to the Ravens

The Ravens will try to contend for a playoff spot once quarterback Lamar Jackson gets healthy, but the team's defensive line needs a good bit of help. Key is the kind of depth piece who could go wild in Baltimore's scheme. We've seen players like Key go to the Ravens and unlock a new gear. We'd be really curious to see this happen.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews to the Jaguars

Speaking of the Ravens, going ahead and trading Andrews might not be a bad idea. The team has Isaiah Likely on the roster, and Andrews' future seems tenuous in Baltimore even without Likely to factor into the equation. The Jaguars need help at tight end with Brenton Strange on injured reserve, and Andrews could step in right away.

Giants QB Russell Wilson to the Jets

The Jets are a dumpster fire right now with no clear answers at quarterbacks. To salvage coach Aaron Glenn's first year on the sideline, we imagine the team would love having a vet in the quarterback room to get some wins. Sure, the team is well-positioned for a high draft pick right now, but they could use a proven starter to at least stay competitive. Wilson is right across the hall with the Giants on the bench. We have a feeling he wouldn't mind playing, and we have a feeling the Jets would enjoy any spark of life on offense. It makes too much sense.
