CINCINNATI — Gov. Andy Beshear, D-Ky., and Gov. Mike DeWine, R-Ohio, sat down with each other Tuesday in Cincinnati for a cross-border, cross-party talk on everything from what’s happening in Washington to the ongoing Brent Spence Companion Bridge project.
Working across the aisle on a number of issues was the through line of the conversation, moderated by former Ohio U.S. Sen. Rob Portman.
“In these divisive times, we need a reminder that our jobs are not to fight with each other, but to get things done,” Beshear told the sold-out crowd at the University of Cincinnati’s Probasco Auditorium.
