CARROLLTON, Texas — West Mesquite and Carrollton Creekview are two of the great turnaround stories in all of Texas high school football.

They are a combined 14-1 this season, only a few years removed from having some truly rough seasons. Now, they're two of the three remaining unbeatens in District 6-5A Division I, and their game at 2 p.m. Thursday will be for first place in the district standings.

The game will be broadcast live for free on Friday Night Football. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. on Thursday, and the pregame show will begin at approximately 1:50 pm.
