Police were investigating Wednesday after finding a woman dead in a Queens house.

NYPD officials said officers responded to the two-story home on Hancock Street near Cypress Avenue in Ridgewood after getting a 911 call around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

When the officers arrived, they found the 48-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive. Emergency medical workers pronounced her dead at the scene.

Police said she had no visible injuries or trauma to her body. They did not identify her as they worked to notify her family.

City medical examiners are working to determine her cause of death.
