All Lamar Jackson was looking for was a hearty late-night meal. Little did he know it would come with a side of yet another controversy.

“Ravens star QB Lamar Jackson has gone viral for looking extremely high while buying street food past midnight,” read an X post by sports writer Dov Kleiman. The accompanying video showed the Baltimore Ravens quarterback engaging in idle chatter with the food cart vendor, all smiles, visibly impressed by the two huge portions of what seemed like chicken and rice he’d picked up. Nothing about the video (except maybe the size of the portions) was extraordinary, and Jackson made sure he made that abundantly clear to his 1.2 million followers.
