Friends of Hospice/Serenity House Executive Director Stephanie Hamill announced this past week that she will soon be retiring from her position.

Hamill has served as the director since 1996, after moving to East Tennessee from Florida with plans to continue her hospice career. During her time with FOH, she took a two-year hiatus to focus on another job but soon returned when the position opened again.

Hamill recalled the humble beginnings of Serenity House.
