R.L. Stine loves reading fiction almost as much as he loves writing it.
The author of over 300 books, including the famed Goosebumps and Fear Street series, has had a busy career writing horror fiction for children. But Stine, 82, still finds time to enjoy turning pages himself, recently having shared six of his favorite titles with Page Six .
He describes his taste as "eclectic," with recommendations spanning various time periods and genres under the fiction umbrella.
“I don’t read nonfiction — I hate anything real,” he told Page Six. That distaste for nonfiction is in line with his portfolio of imaginative stories.
