The names of possible features at the proposed High Falls State Park were part of the framework plan released on Oct. 21 to a full room at Monroe Community College’s downtown campus.

“I don’t have to tell you how important this park is going to be to the city of Rochester,” said Tom Alworth, executive deputy director of New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. “It is extraordinary. The water, the water matters. It is magic. Getting down to the river will change lives.”
