Rangers chairman Andrew Cavenagh believes fans have yet to see the best of the club’s summer signings but says fresh investment in players could follow in January.
The Ibrox club brought in 12 new players following the American takeover in June, and had a net spend of £20m as the squad was reshaped.
Results and performances led to head coach Russell Martin being sacked after just four months in charge, and many believe the players brought in have been underwhelming despite the outlay on transfer fees and wages.
