SRINAGAR : Police in Shopian rescued an 11-year-old girl who had been kidnapped from the Chitragam area of Zainapora and arrested the accused within hours of the incident. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to officials, the case came to light when the Station House Officer of Police Station Zainapora received a WhatsApp complaint from a resident of Chitragam Zainapora, reporting that his minor sister had gone missing from her home around 2 pm.

Acting immediately, police registered an FIR and launched a search operation. Based on technical inputs and coordinated efforts, the kidnapped girl was traced to Kulgam district and recovered safely.
