WEBB CITY, Mo. — In a battle of Bulldogs, the third-seeded Carl Junction volleyball team advanced to the semifinals of the Class 4 District 6 tournament with 25-19, 25-11 and 25-18 wins over sixth-seeded Springfield Central Tuesday night at Webb City High School.

In the opening set, CJ (15-13) jumped out to a 5-0 lead that included four Jadyn Howard service aces. Central scored its first point off a Howard service error, but Carl Junction maintained the lead and extended it to 12-7 off a kill by Maddy Huffman. ×
