It’s hard to imagine life feeling more surreal than it already has in 2025, but here it goes. On October 22, numinous Neptune—the planet of dreams and illusions—slips back into its hazy home sign of Pisces for one final hurrah. Neptune made a quick dash into Aries on March 30, previewing a longer, 13-year cycle that begins again on Jan. 26, 2026. And yes, that’s one of the reasons why the world seems turned on its ear.
