As the government shutdown approaches the one-month mark, Americans should expect to notice some disruptions as services begin to run out of funds.
Among these services are food assistance programs — including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, aka SNAP, and the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women Infants and Children, aka WIC.
