American former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson met with young Congolese boxers in Kinshasa as part of celebrations marking the 51st anniversary of the legendary 1974 “Rumble in the Jungle” bout between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman.

Tyson observed local athletes training on the streets of the capital before addressing them at the historic Ali-Foreman Stadium, where the original fight took place.

The visit, filled with nostalgia and inspiration, honored one of boxing’s most iconic moments, when Ali defeated Foreman in front of 60,000 fans in Kinshasa — an event that remains a proud part of both sports and African history.
