The main storyline for the upcoming "Sunday Night Football" game between the Green Bay Packers (4-1-1) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) centers on quarterback Aaron Rodgers facing his former team, which he played for from 2005 to 2022.
However, the matchup will also be special for Green Bay pass-rusher Micah Parsons.
What classy Aaron Rodgers gesture meant to Micah Parsons
As The Athletic's Matt Schneidman shared on Wednesday, Parsons was playing for the Dallas Cowboys in the fall of 2022 when Rodgers approached him after Green Bay had won in overtime. The future Hall of Famer wanted to swap jerseys with the 2021 first-round draft pick who had earned the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award.
"To me, it’s a great sign of respect," Parsons recently said about Rodgers' gesture.
