BATTLE CREEK ― Here are the Games of the Week in high school football in the Battle Creek readership area for Week 9.

Harper Creek (7-1) at Jackson Northwest (3-5), 7 p.m. Friday

Scouting Report: Harper Creek already clinched a share of the Interstate 8 Conference title after beating Marshall in Week 8. As the Beavers stand on top of the league undefeated at 5-0, Harper Creek can win the I-8 title outright with a win at Jackson Northwest by finishing the league season unbeaten. The Beavers were in a similar position a year ago, needing a win over Jackson Northwest in Week 9 to clinch the league title outright and Harper Creek beat the Mounties 53-0. Harper Creek has already won back-to-back league titles for the first time at the school since 2017. Jackson Northwest is coming off a 50-
