INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Senate Republicans do not currently have the votes for mid-cycle redistricting, a spokesperson for Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray told 13News.

"The votes aren't there for redistricting," Molly Swigart, a spokesperson for Bray and communications director for the Indiana Senate Republicans, told 13News .

Last Friday, Oct. 17, President Donald Trump talked with state Senate Republicans to discuss redistricting. Swigart confirmed to 13News last week that Senate Republicans were invited to join a call with Trump on the congressional redistricting topic.

Swigart said Bray participated in the call.
