An 300-year-old grand manor style hotel in Aberdeenshire is inviting people to dine with its permanent - and very spooky - guests this Halloween.

Thainstone House in Inverurie prides itself on its haunting history, with numerous sights of one former resident, ‘The Green Lady’, who is rumoured to call the hotel home.

Dating back to the 18th century, the 48-bedroom hotel is thought to be permanently inhabited by the daughter of the former owner of the historic house, who apparently primarily resides in room 406.
