Wildfire fighters, evacuees call on feds to restore equipment and training funding

OTTAWA — A group of wildfire evacuees, volunteer firefighters and Indigenous wildfire guardians is in Ottawa this week calling on the federal government to do more to prevent seasonal wildfires.
