Six athletes from a martial arts school in Livingston took on a double world championship challenge during October. ‌

Four Taekwon-Do athletes and two kickboxers from GMAC Martial Arts headed to two separate World Championships, the latter representing Scotland on the international stage. ‌

The ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships in Poreč, Croatia, were a huge success for the four GMAC athletes. It was an incredible week, filled with passion, pride, and perseverance from start to finish. ‌

In her individual sparring debut, Jodi Skivington showed fantastic spirit, pushing her opponent all the way in a close, exciting contest. She was narrowly pipped by a taller opponent but can be incredibly proud of her performance at her first ever World Championships. READ MORE :
