A 68-year-old Kitchener man faces impaired driving charges after police responded to a tip from a member of the public in Ingersoll.
Oxford OPP said a resident reported a driver who appeared to be impaired on Tuesday, at approximately 6 p.m., sending officers to a residence.
After speaking to the driver, officers arrested the man and charged him with operation while impaired – alcohol, and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The man was handed an automatic 90-day licence suspension and seven-day vehicle impound.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Woodstock court Nov. 18.
