The city's Christmas celebrations are edging ever closer, and the organisers behind this year's events have confirmed some of the attractions fans can expect at Glasgow Green and St Enoch Square.

Following the news from the city council that George Square will be out of action until at least the summer next year, the Christmas market will remain at St Enoch but will see the bigger Wonderland event move to the Green.

As well as Glasgow Life hosting a new “lighting experience” to tie in with the city’s 850th birthday celebrations, which will take place across several streets in the city centre, the organisers behind the Winter Wonderland on the Green say it will launch on Friday, November 21 and will be open until Sunday, January 4.
