Four former Pittsburgh Steelers players have advanced in the voting process for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Gary Anderson , kicker

James Harrison , linebacker

Maurkice Pouncey , center

Hines Ward , wide receiver

Former Pitt star Larry Fitzgerald is also a nominee in his first year of eligibility after 17 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. Fitzgerald ranks second all-time in the NFL for career receptions and yards by a receiver.

LeSean "Shady" McCoy , another Pitt great, is also eligible for the first time after a 12-year career that saw the Pennsylvania native win two Super Bowl rings with the Kansas City Chiefs.
