A deadly "disturbance" unfolded Wednesday morning at a southwest suburban Chick-fil-A restaurant, with two people injured, one suspect in custody and a large police presence in the area.

The incident took place about 5 a.m. at the Chick-fil-A restaurant in the 2700 block of Route 34 in Oswego, according to a Facebook post from the Village of Oswego Police Department, as officers responded to reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers found two people injured at the scene. One of those injured was pronounced dead, police said. The other was transported to a nearby hospital.

One suspect was taken into custody, police said. Investigators said they believe the incident to be "isolated," with no threat to the public.
