SALT LAKE CITY — The Sundance Film Festival’s final season in Park City will be a celebration of its 40-year legacy in Utah.

Festival organizers released their Park City Legacy Program for the festival on Tuesday. They say the second half of the festival will focus on honoring the legacy of Sundance in Utah and its founder, Robert Redford, who died earlier this year .

It will feature screenings of iconic films from the archives, including a digitally restored version of “Little Miss Sunshine” and Redford’s very own “Downhill Racer.”

The festival will also host artist talks with notable festival alumni. Then, as a thank you to Park City and a farewell to Utah after four decades here, a special event will be held for the public on Jan. 30, 2026.
