Cow rescued alive after six days in abandoned septic tank at Teliamura

Agartala, 22 nd October 2025: A cow trapped for six days inside an abandoned septic tank in Teliamura’s Ward number 07 was rescued alive this morning by the local disaster response team. The tank located at the residence of Manik Saha, had gone unnoticed until a search was launched following a missing livestock report.

Narayan Saha, a resident of Netaji Nagar in Ward number 09, informed Teliamura Municipal Council Chairman Rupak Sarkar yesterday that his cow had been missing for nearly five days. Acting swiftly, Sarkar instructed ward councillors to investigate and report any unusual findings.
