Top 30 British dishes that have stood the test of time revealed

Classic British dishes like toad in the hole, corned beef hash, and bubble and squeak continue to be kitchen favourites across the UK. A survey of 2,000 adults revealed a list of the top 30 nostalgic meals that are still being prepared in homes, including liver and onions, bread and butter pudding, and Welsh rarebit.

Most cooks confirmed that these retro recipes served to their loved ones have been passed down through generations, highlighting their continued importance at family mealtimes. To celebrate these traditional dishes, children's TV icon Angellica Bell partnered with Red Tractor for an intergenerational cook-off featuring a variety of family recipes handed down over the years.
