Despite the mounting global challenges, UK adults remain hopeful about their future. A recent survey reveals that seven out of 10 UK adults are optimistic about what lies ahead.

The study, which involved 2,000 UK adults, found that acts of kindness, scientific progress, and witnessing community support are fuelling this optimism. Moreover, a staggering 95% reported feeling more hopeful for the future when they see communities bounce back and rebuild after a crisis.

The research, commissioned by the British Red Cross, also highlighted concerns about global conflicts and climate change's impact, which are affecting people's hope.
