Howard Chapel-Ridgeville United Methodist Church celebrated its 140th anniversary of worshipping in the same building with a Homecoming Celebration on Oct. 12.

The two services were attended by many former members who had grown up in the church, as well as four former pastors who had served the congregation over the years. Members in attendance ranged from 2 to 98 years of age.
