Din Tai Fung, the popular Taiwanese restaurant known for its soup dumplings, will expand to Brooklyn in 2027.
The Michelin-starred eatery will occupy 20,000 square feet on the ground floor of The Brook , a new luxury residential tower at 567 Fulton St. in Downtown Brooklyn. The opening will mark the global brand’s second New York City location, following its Midtown Manhattan restaurant, which opened in 2024.
Din Tai Fung announced the news this week on its U.S. Instagram account, teasing, “Guess who’s coming to dinner, Brooklyn?” The post added, “ From delicate soup dumplings to classic Taiwanese dishes steeped in tradition, something extraordinary is coming to the borough.”
