Venice 153, North Port 222: The Venice girls golf team bested North Port by 69 strokes on Tuesday at Waterford Golf Club. Evyn Cannon was the medalist of the dual match with a 33 that included three birdies. Venice teammates Ella Gardner (37) and Camryn Davis (38) also recorded sub-40 rounds in the win.

Boys Golf

Sarasota County Championship: The Sarasota High boys golf team won the Sarasota County Championship with a score of 285. The Sailors beat out Venice (303), Riverview (305), Cardinal Mooney (306), Pine View (307), Out-of-Door Academy (311) and Gulf Coast HEAT (347) to win.

Sarasota player Jacob Menard shot a 7-under 65 to record the lowest score of the championship. He was followed by Niko Gordon Ronderos of Cardinal Mooney (71) and Jake Macdonald
